Tensions boiled over on the May 27 episode of WWE NXT as Tony DAngelo finally came face-to-face with Luca Crusifino after their messy fallout at Battleground.
The drama began at the Premium Live Event, where Crusifinos unexpected involvement in DAngelo and Stacks tag team match backfired. His interference ended up costing them the matchand Tony wasnt about to let that slide.
On NXT, Crusifino tried to clear the air and extend a handshake, but DAngelo wasnt having it. He shut Luca down before he could get far with his explanation.
I cant trust anybody right now, DAngelo told him, cutting the conversation cold.
That brief but heated exchange makes it clear this issue is far from settledand DAngelo isnt quick to forgive.
