Mick Foley just dropped a major update on his long-rumored biopicand hes got two potential stars in mind to bring him to life on screen.

During an interview on Casual Conversations with The Classic, the hardcore legend revealed that a TV series based on his life has been in development for over two years, and the casting conversations are already serious.

Foley confirmed that actor and current indie wrestling regular Paul Walter Hauser has expressed strong interest in playing him. While Foley joked about the height difference, he believes Hauser can nail the soul of the charactereven if its not a perfect physical match.

Another name Foley mentioned is deathmatch wrestler Casanova Valentine. Not only does he have the look and personality, but Foley pointed out that Valentine has real stunt experience and has been training in acting.

Foley shared a behind-the-scenes moment that sealed Valentine as a serious contender. The deathmatch star once flew to Nashville to film a Santa-themed video as Foleys body doublepainting a wooden choo-choo train in a full Santa suit. The gig may have lacked barbed wire and thumbtacks, but Foley said it paid off in a different way.

As for the biopics direction, Foley made it clear the show wont just be about barbed wire and broken tablesits about the emotion and humanity behind the madness.

With names like Hauser and Valentine in the mix, its clear Foleys story is closer than ever to being told on screenand if done right, it could resonate far beyond the wrestling world.
