One of TNA Wrestlings biggest names is on the shelf following an injury at Under Siege.
Tessa Blanchard was noticeably absent from the second night of TNA television tapings in Brampton, Ontario, and now we know why. According to multiple sources within the company, Blanchard suffered whats believed to be a concussion during her match against Arianna Grace at Fridays Under Siege pay-per-view.
Despite the suspected injury, Blanchard reportedly finished the match. Fightful Select learned of the situation after a social media post criticized a few botched spots from the match. A source confirmed Blanchard had suffered the injury mid-match, which may have contributed to the missteps.
As of now, the full extent of Blanchards injury remains unclear, and no official timetable has been set for her return to the ring. TNA has not issued a formal statement on the situation, but internally, the move to hold her off the second night was seen as a precaution.
Blanchards reemergence in TNA has been one of the companys headline stories in recent months. Her absenceespecially just one night after such a physical matchhas left fans concerned about how long shell be sidelined.
TNA fans will be keeping a close eye on updates about her condition as the company navigates the aftermath of Under Siege. We wish Tessa a full and speedy recovery.
