Zelina Vega has successfully defended the WWE Womens United States Championship for the first time. She defeated Chelsea Green to retain the belt on Saturday at Saturday Nights Main Event in Tampa. Vega took the belt off of Green on an episode of SmackDown at the end of April.
The final moments of the match had Vega hit a Code Red off the top rope to pin Green for the win. Green suffered a busted nose after Vega went for the 619 prior to the Code Red finisher.
