WrestleMania 42 may be heading to Las Vegasbut it looks like WWEs relationship with Sin City is just getting started.
According to PWInsider, WWE is now expected to hold multiple major events annually in Las Vegas, expanding far beyond just the WrestleMania weekend. This comes on the heels of WrestleMania 41s record-setting success at Allegiant Stadium and the massive revenue it brought to both WWE and the city.
This update adds to earlier reporting from Wrestling Observer Newsletter, where Dave Meltzer revealed WWEs long-term vision for Las Vegas. The plan is now to run WrestleMania on a regular basis in the city. Not necessarily every year, but frequently, Meltzer wrote. He also noted that Vegas has become a strategic hub for WWE, especially with key TKO executives residing there and WWE President Nick Khan having grown up in the area.
But now, its more than just the Grandest Stage of Them All. WWE appears poised to bring more tentpole shows to Vegasincluding SummerSlam, Money in the Bank, and other premium live eventscementing the city as one of the promotions top destinations.
The momentum is mutual. Las Vegas officials are reportedly eager to position the city as the go-to home for top-tier sporting spectacles, placing WrestleMania alongside the Super Bowl, NCAA Final Four, and College Football Playoff as annual tourism powerhouses.
While logistical issues remainincluding a concert conflict at Allegiant Stadium and limited space at the Las Vegas Convention CenterWWE seems ready to make the city a permanent fixture on its calendar.
