WrestleMania 42 might be heading back to Las Vegasbut this may not be a one-time deal.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE isnt just eyeing Allegiant Stadium for 2026. The company is now seriously considering making Las Vegas a regular host city for WrestleMania moving forward.
The plan is now to run WrestleMania on a regular basis in the city, Meltzer reported. Not necessarily every year, but frequently. WWEs leadership is reportedly leaning into Vegas due to several major factorsstarting with the financial windfall from this years WrestleMania 41.
Vegas delivered massive revenue streams from tourism, partnerships, and ticket sales that New Orleans simply couldnt match. And location plays a key role too. Key TKO executives reside there and WWE President Nick Khan grew up in the area, Meltzer added.
Las Vegas officials are said to be looking to secure a major destination sporting event each year. That means rotating through juggernauts like the Super Bowl, NCAA Final Four, the College Football Playoff National Championshipand now, WrestleMania. The goal? Lock in the biggest draws in sports entertainment, and host whichever one isnt already in town.
But there are still some logistical hurdles to work through. Meltzer previously reported that a concert scheduled at Allegiant Stadium could create a setup conflict, and the Las Vegas Convention Center is already booked the same weekend, potentially forcing WWE to find a new location for its fan events.
Still, WWE seems more than ready to commit. If they can work around the schedule jams, Las Vegas could become the unofficial new home for WrestleMania for years to come.
