One of WWEs most iconic entrance songs has a secret voice behind itand its none other than The Mouth of the South himself.

In a new video on WWEs The Vault YouTube channel, Jimmy Hart pulled back the curtain on the creation of Shawn Michaels legendary Sexy Boy themeand revealed his hidden role in making the track what it is today.

Shawn loved the song, Shawn sang the song. We did two versions of it, one originally by Sherri singing it, Hart explained. But when she took a hiatus from the company for a while, Shawn sang it. Now, we didnt have our girl singer, so Im the one singing backup, going, sexy boy.

That iconic chant wasnt done by a group of women, like many assumedit was Hart himself, layered over and over in the studio. We doubled it five times, so it made it sound like three or four girls going, sexy boy, Hart said. But Shawn Michaels is number onewas Sexy Boy.
