The mystery is overWWE has officially confirmed where the May 27, 2025 episode of NXT Live on The CW will take place after canceling the originally scheduled taping in Tampa.
During the top of the hour kicking off the second half of the May 20 episode of NXT, Vic Joseph made the announcement live on air: Next weeks NXT on The CW will emanate from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
This puts to rest days of speculation after WWE abruptly pulled the plug on the planned taping at Tampas Yuengling Center. While the company never issued an official reason for the cancellation, the shift back to the Performance Center was widely seen as the most logical move given NXTs usual home base setup.
WWE had a full slate of Memorial Day weekend events scheduled in Tampa, including Saturday Nights Main Event, NXT Battleground, and Monday Night Raw. With those events still set to go down, NXTs change in venue stands outbut now fans know exactly where the action will unfold.
The Performance Center has long served as NXTs production hub, and it looks like WWE is sticking with what works as they continue building momentum for the brands presence on The CW.
