The May 20 episode of WWE NXT brought the finishing touches before Battleground this Sunday. That also included a special segment with two top stars for different companies.
Joe Hendry will put the TNA World Title on the line against Trick Williams at Battleground. This week on NXT, Hendry held another one of his concerts as well, but first, Williams owned the spotlight with his own rap performance.
During the shows first hour, Trick Williams appeared in the NXT Arena for a rap performance. They hyped this segment throughout the first part of the show as well.
Trick Williams started out his performance backstage, dissing Joe Hendry even before his music started. He said that Hendrys mother called him Average Joe. Then Williams proceeded to rap a song about how he is not backing down to an Average Joe.
After the rap was over, Trick Williams did a turn around to the camera, just like Joe Hendry. This was a high energy performance, and Williams certainly made his point.
WWE NXT Battleground is coming up this Sunday, and it will go down at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. This will be a big show, and we cant wait to bring you all the headlines here at Ringside News.
