AEW Collisions May 17th episode continues to be a major source of frustration for U.S. fans as the final half hour is still missing from MAX.
Despite Tony Khans earlier assurance that the complete broadcast would be available for its West Coast airing and later on MAX, the episode remains absent from the platform.
Khan addressed the ongoing issue, stating, There are ongoing transmission issues on tonights Saturday #AEWCollision. Im so sorry, we all were expecting a full version to play on @TNTdrama West, but right now an ongoing technical issue that all believed to be fixed is still affecting the transmission of the final half hour even on TNT West. We will get the full show up on @StreamOnMax asap, and Im very sorry for this hassle!
As of now, MAX still lists the May 8th episode as the most recent upload, with the May 17th show nowhere to be found. According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, the missing episode is expected to be added to MAX sometime today, but there is no official confirmation from AEW or Warner Bros. Discovery.
International fans have had better luck, as the episode is available in full on Triller. However, viewers reported several technical issues with onscreen graphics, further adding to the mess surrounding this broadcast.
AEW fans who missed the ROH Tag Team Championship main event between Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara vs. The CRU are still waiting for answers and a resolution.
Will AEW be able to regain fan trust after this broadcast fiasco, or is this a sign of more technical issues to come? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
