Steve Maclins TNA International Championship reign is in serious jeopardy after suffering multiple injuries during his brutal Dog Collar Match against Eric Young on May 8.
During the May 15 episode of TNA iMPACT!, a BIOFLEX TNA Injury Report video package confirmed that Maclin sustained a minor skull fracture, multiple lacerations, and extreme blood loss, leaving him medically unable to compete this week.
Despite the severity of his injuries, Maclin is still scheduled to defend his TNA International Championship against Matt Cardona at Under Siege on May 23.
TNA has yet to confirm whether Maclins condition could impact his ability to defend the title, but with Cardona earning the #1 contender spot in a triple threat match against Ace Austin and Elijah, the pressure is mounting for Maclin to be ready.
Will Steve Maclin be able to defend his title against Matt Cardona, or could this injury open the door for a major title change at Under Siege? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
