Rhino is a well-known name in professional wrestling, but with fame comes challenges, like fake accounts pretending to be him. In fact, Chris Jericho revealed that he was contacted by someone impersonating Rhino, as Jericho warned people to look out for such accounts.

While speaking to 101 WRIF, Chris Jericho revealed that he recently got a strange text from someone claiming to be Rhino. A month or two ago, he received a message that said, Hey, its Rhino. How are you? At first, Jericho didnt think much of it and assumed Rhino might have just changed his number.

Then the person followed up asking for Adam Copelands phone number. Thats when Jericho realized something was off and suspected it was a scammer pretending to be Rhyno in an attempt to get contact details for other wrestlers.

Jericho ended up blocking the number and figured the real Rhino might not even know someone was impersonating him. He warned that someone out there is pretending to be Rhyno to collect phone numbers from wrestlers.

This comes after we have previously reported that several fake Rhino accounts on Twitter have been trying to get phone numbers from professional wrestlers, but thankfully the social media platform took them down.

Chris Jerichos run-in with a fake Rhino account is a clear reminder that wrestlers and fans need to be extra careful online. Regardless, fans hope such fake accounts never pretend to be Rhino again, as there is always the chance someone can get scammed and Rhinos reputation could get damaged.
