Zelina Vega isnt holding back when it comes to her thoughts on AJ Lee possibly returning to WWE.
During her appearance on Ten Count Wrestling, Vega drew a striking comparison between CM Punks 2023 return and what could happen if AJ Lee steps back into the ring.
The reigning United States Champion emphasized that Lees comeback would evoke the same fan frenzy that Punk did two years ago.
Vega, who once portrayed AJ Lee in the film Fighting with My Family, noted that not only do fans want to see Lee back, but the WWE locker room is also ready to welcome her with open arms.
AJ Lee last made a WWE appearance in 2015, but her name continues to come up in conversations about possible returns. With SummerSlam set for her home state of New Jersey, some believe it could be the perfect stage for her to make a monumental comeback.
