Zelina Vega became the WWE Womens United States Champion a few weeks back signifying her first singles championship win with WWE. She defeated the inaugural champion, Chelsea Green.
While speaking with Good Karma Wrestling, Vega states she would like to take the title and defend it beyond just SmackDown. She wants to defend it in AAA and NXT. WWE recently acquired AAA.
I mean, I want to defend this title as much as I can. We just had the merge with AAA. So, I mean, Id love to take it out there. Id love to wrestle Stephanie Vaquer there. You know, thatd be super dope. Id love to take it NXT, wrestle Giulia there, you know, maybe Kelani (Jordan). Id love to take it to STARDOM and go and wrestle out there. I mean, however and whenever, Id love to defend this championship and kind of show people who Zelina Vega is as a champion. Youve seen Zelina as a manager, youve seen her as, you know, the singles competitor in the LWO version. Theres been very different versions of me, but now seeing me as the United States champion, I want to be a fighting champion and make sure that this is, I put my stamp on this also.
