WWE NXT has been a major hit for The CW since its debut on the network on October 1, 2024, and now CW President Brian Schwartz is looking to expand the relationship even further.

Speaking to Variety, Schwartz revealed that WWE and The CW are constantly discussing new ways to bring more WWE content to the network.

According to Schwartz, the network has already started integrating NXT talent into other CW shows, including Tony DAngelos appearance on the procedural Wild Cards and Trick Williams making a cameo on All American. Schwartz indicated that more cross-promotional opportunities could be on the way, as NXT continues to boost The CWs ratings.

Its been an absolute game changer for the CW, and I think its been a game changer for WWE, Schwartz said, noting that NXTs most recent quarter was its highest-rated in five years, with ratings up 19% compared to last year. The developmental brand has also helped The CW beat Fox on Tuesday nights among adults 18-49 and 25-54, driving a 40% increase in the networks overall season-over-season growth.

The CWs potential expansion into more WWE programming could position the network as a key partner for WWE, especially as NXT continues to dominate in key demographics. With NXT talent already appearing on CW shows, it may only be a matter of time before more WWE content finds its way to the network.

Do you think WWE should further expand its partnership with The CW and bring more wrestling content to the network? or is there already enough WWE TV? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
