Carlito is set to make a rare appearance outside of WWE later this month, as hes been officially announced for WWCs Summer Madness event on May 31 at the Pepn Cestero Arena in Bayamn, Puerto Rico.
The news was confirmed by World Wrestling Council, who revealed on social media that WWE and WWC reached an agreement to allow Carlito to compete at the event. WWE official Adam Pearce reportedly authorized the appearance, citing unfinished business for Carlito in Puerto Rico.
This marks Carlitos first appearance in WWC since the promotions 50th Anniversary show in 2023, a match that took place before he re-signed with WWE.
In a recent interview with Contralona, Carlito was asked when fans could expect to see him back in Puerto Rico, but at the time, he had no concrete answer. Now, its clear that WWE is giving him the green light to return to his roots, even if just for one night.
Tickets for WWC Summer Madness are available now at Rayting Mini Market in Dorado, Puerto Rico.
