The Wyatt Sicks factions extended absence from WWE SmackDown has left fans wondering what went wrong, and now the reasons behind it have become more apparent. The group, consisting of Uncle Howdy, Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, and Nikki Cross, was drafted to SmackDown in January but has yet to make a single appearance.

The primary reason for the factions absence revolves around Uncle Howdy, portrayed by Bo Dallas. Dallas sustained an injury shortly after the group was drafted, forcing WWE to put all creative plans for the Sicks on hold. Without their leader, WWE opted to keep the group off television, shelving a proposed feud with The Judgment Day.

But there was more to it. WWE had serious discussions about booking a Wyatt Sicks vs. Judgment Day showdown for WrestleMania 41. The match gained enough traction to appear on internal whiteboards, but Dallas injury derailed everything before plans could be finalized. According to one source, many of the talent hadnt even been broached about the match, suggesting the idea never made it past early creative stages.

With WrestleMania plans being locked in and Bo Dallas on the mend, WWE decided to keep the Wyatt Sicks in limbo rather than debut the faction without its leader. Despite their prolonged absence, WWE is still working on a storyline for the group, with hints that they could resurface soon and when the time is right.

Adding more fuel to the speculation, Alexa Bliss who has been rumored to have ties to the Wyatt Sicks made her SmackDown return alongside Zelina Vega, picking up a win over Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. Nikki Cross, another key member of the Sicks, has also been kept off TV, while Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan, and Joe Gacy have remained mostly inactive.

Now that Bo Dallas is cleared, the timing of the Wyatt Sicks return is entirely in WWEs hands. But with Alexa Bliss back in the mix and a canceled WrestleMania match still looming, could the Sicks be ready to make their move?

What do you think WWE should do with the Wyatt Sicks? Are they still a compelling faction, or has the delay cooled their momentum? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
