Randy Orton just took a trip down memory lane, but not even The Viper knew what was coming next. In a recent WWE YouTube video, Orton blindly ranked five of his most iconic RKOs and the results left fans stunned.
Orton started with his RKO to John Cena through a table on Monday Night Raw in 2010, but he wasnt exactly impressed. I go through the table before John does. Im gonna go 5 on this one, only because it doesnt quite make sense, Orton said, laughing.
Coming in at number four was his 2019 Royal Rumble RKO to Nia Jax. Orton noted that hitting an RKO on a female competitor was rare, saying, Nia, okay, well, that was special. But then Ive also RKOd a handful of girls, some old ladies.
At number three, Orton placed his 2005 RKO on Hulk Hogan on the hood of a car a moment that solidified his Legend Killer persona. I had to drop him, I had to drop his ass on the car, Orton quipped.
The number two spot went to his WrestleMania 31 RKO on Seth Rollins. Orton called it one of his most unpredictable RKOs ever, admitting, There was that question mark, and I rarely go into a match with a question mark.
But the top spot? That went to his mid-air RKO on Evan Bourne from Monday Night Raw, a moment fans still consider the ultimate RKO. This was the first time that I did anything crazy like that with the RKO, Orton said, adding, It might be tied for one, but I think Im gonna go with one on this.
But in a twist, Orton revealed a special bonus: an RKO from his wife Kim while they were vacationing in the Maldives. That will always be number 1 in my heart, but that Evan Bourne, close second, Orton said with a grin.
