The May 7 episode of AEW Dynamite went down in the Masonic Temple Theatre in Detroit. You never know who might show up, and that included an old face from ECW.
Rhino showed up on AEW Dynamite this week. This match capped off the shows first hour. He ended up getting a surprise shot at the TNT Title.
Nick Wayne was going to face a name from Christian Cages past. Nobody knew who might show up, and their questions were answered when they started hearing Gore, Gore, Gore!
Rhino came out, and this received an amazing reaction from the Detroit crowd. Of course, the former ECW original was a big part of Detroits scene, and he hails from the city. However, after a brief match, Rhino last following a Killswitch from Wayne. Detroit fans chanted bullsh*t at this result.
We will have to see what Rhino does next. If anything, this appearance certainly proved that he still has what it takes to pop a crowd.
