Katana Chance isnt wasting any time moving on after being released from WWE. The former NXT standout has officially reverted to her old ring name, Kacy Catanzaro, signaling a fresh start on the independent scene.

On May 7, Catanzaro took to Instagram with a bold new post that read, Guess whos back, along with a striking new photo of herself flaunting a glittery silver top and a confident smile. But the changes didnt stop thereshe also updated her profile to reflect her new booking email, [email protected], making it clear shes ready to take on fresh opportunities outside of WWE.

Catanzaros Instagram profile now highlights her real name and omits all traces of her WWE persona, a strong indication that shes fully embracing her pre-WWE identity. This move comes just days after WWEs latest wave of cuts that saw numerous NXT talents let go, including Cora Jade, Gigi Dolin, Gallus, Jakara Jackson, Eddy Thorpe, Javier Bernal, Oro Mensah, and Riley Osborne.

Unlike main roster names like Shayna Baszler, Braun Strowman, Dakota Kai, Katana Chance, and Kayden Carter, who are locked into 90-day non-compete clauses, many of the released NXT stars will be free to work elsewhere as early as June. This includes Catanzaro, whose 90-day non-compete clause could prevent her from making a quick splash on the indie scene or in major promotions like TNA, AEW, or New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Catanzaro initially joined WWE in 2018 after making a name for herself as a trailblazer on American Ninja Warrior. Her athleticism and acrobatics made her a standout in the womens division, but despite several attempts to break through on NXT and NXT Level Up, she never managed to capture a championship.

Now, with her WWE chapter officially closed, the 33-year-old is seemingly ready to rewrite her career on her own terms. The new Instagram post, which has already drawn considerable attention, suggests that Kacy is embracing the spotlight and ready to reintroduce herself to the wrestling world.

Where do you think Kacy Catanzaro should go next? Will she make a bigger impact outside WWE than she did in NXT? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
