El Grande Americano has been a staple of WWE television since his debut on the March 24 episode of WWE RAW. With WWEs acquisition of AAA, several fans wondered if Americano would make any appearances in AAA, and now Americanos future in AAA has been revealed.
While speaking on the Keepin It 100 podcast, Konnan was asked if El Grande Americano would become an intricate and integral part of AAA moving forward. Konnan stated that he believes so, saying, I believe so.
Konnan was also asked whether El Grande Americano would be fighting for the AAA World Title at the Triplemania Regia event on June 15th. He said he couldnt confirm anything until the official card is released, saying, Yeah. So I cant say until the card comes out.
El Grande Americano defeated Dragon Lee to become the new WWE Speed Champion and he will be defending that as much as possible, but its clear he will make his presence felt in AAA events moving forward.
With Triplemana Regia more than a month away, fans are looking forward to seeing whether El Grande Americano will make an appearance at the event and possibly compete for the AAA World Championship, as anything is possible right now.
