WWE RAW is stacked tonight with a loaded lineup, but one familiar face wont be part of the action. Jackie Redmond revealed she wont be on this weeks episode of Monday Night RAW, and shes already feeling the FOMO.
In a video posted to her Instagram Stories, Redmond explained her absence, saying shes currently in Montreal instead of Omaha, Nebraskawhere RAW is airing live from the CHI Health Center. So, I am in Montreal, Canada, waiting to get on a plane. Duh. But Im not in Omaha, she said.
She admitted that plans changed last minute. My original plan was to take a red-eye last night, slash this morning, into Omaha. Didnt work out that way for a couple of reasons. Actually had to take myself off of RAW for another reason that I wont get into. Redmond didnt elaborate on the exact reason, but she confirmed she wouldnt have made it anyway thanks to a double-overtime hockey game she was at: The game was crazy, as you know, and went to double overtime. And so I would have missed my flights anyways.
Despite the hiccup, she seemed in good spirits, adding, So, you know, it all works out sometimes. But here we are. I wont be there. Single tear. Im so sorry. But Ill be watching from home.
While fans will miss Redmond on the show, theres still plenty to look forward to on tonights RAW. Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman are expected to speak after last weeks attack on Sami Zayn. Rusev returns to RAW for a match against Otis, and Becky Lynch is calling out Lyra Valkyria before their Womens Intercontinental Title clash at Backlash.
Also on the card: IYO SKY takes on Roxanne Perez in whats expected to be a strong in-ring showcase, and Penta faces JD McDonagh in singles competition.
Jackie Redmond may not be there in person, but shell be tuned in like the rest of usjust from the comfort of home.
