After a wave of WWE talent releases, Naomi stirred the pot by suggesting one more name should be added to the listnone other than her longtime rival, Jade Cargill.
Naomi and Jade Cargill reignited their social media banter following last nights SmackDown. Amid the ongoing buzz around WWEs budget cuts and talent releases, the former Womens Champion took a shot at Cargill on X, saying that if it were up to her, shed have kept everyoneexcept The Storm.
If I was doing releases I would have kept everyone and just released @Jade_Cargill, Naomi twitted.
This was quite a bold move by The Glow, especially with the WWE Universe talking about the recent wave of budget cuts. While many fans continue to support Jade Cargill, even they couldnt ignore that the former Womens Champions remark came off as pretty below the belt.
At this point, the former TNA star is making her dislike for Jade Cargill loud and clear. First, she called out Cargill for licking her during their SmackDown match, and now shes back at it on social media. Naomi seems like a woman on a missiondetermined to take down the former AEW star, whether its in the ring or online.
Cargill and Naomi clashed on the May 2nd episode of WWE SmackDown in a tag team main event. Naomi teamed up with Nia Jax to face Jade Cargill and Tiffany Stratton, with Jade and Tiffany picking up the win. However, after the match, Naomi ambushed The Storm and stood tall to close out the show.
This feud has reached a boiling point, and itll be interesting to see whats next for these two fierce rivals.
