In his interview on Pub Darts, the WWE Superstar revealed how much his life has changed due to his success in wrestling. One of the most unexpected parts? Just how difficult it is to do normal things without getting swarmed by fans.
The other week I was contemplating whether to get the Tube, and I was like you just cant, McIntyre admitted. At 65, nearly 280 pounds, with long hair and a signature beard, Drew knows he cant exactly blend in. I dont like people looking at me all the time, but Im 65 with long hair and a beard and 280. People are gonna stare no matter what.
He reflected on the contrast between now and the earlier days of his career. Ive also been at the point where nobody gave a f** and I was walking along,* he said. Now I prefer the way it is, especially before retiring one day.
Despite the challenges, McIntyre says he wouldnt trade it. He also echoed advice from Bobby Lashley that stuck with him: One day someones not going to want to talk to me or do interviews with me. So I want to do everything now.
The fame may be limiting his freedom, but Drews determined to make the most of the momentno matter how many stares come with it.
