But instead of flexing on the SmackDown roster, Zelina is already eyeing a potential challenger from RAWher close friend Dakota Kai.
Speaking to Adam Barnard of Screen Rant, Zelina made it clear who she wants to face first. Dakota, I would love to give her the first shot. Im just saying. Dakota Kai gets first shot. I would love that. She has become like a sister to me.
The two arent just friends behind the scenesthey co-host a weekly podcast together, which has become a favorite among fans for its honest convos and insider vibes. So its no surprise that Zelina is ready to throw her a championship opportunity the moment Kai is back in the ring.
Dakota hasnt wrestled on TV since March 17, when she picked up a win over Ivy Nile on RAW. Fans started speculating about her absence, but she recently cleared the air on social media, writing: I miss wrestling and I miss you guys. Not hurt btw!
Zelinas win not only puts her at the top of the SmackDown womens division, but it also opens the door for crossover drama with RAWespecially if she gets her wish and Dakota Kai steps up for that title shot.
Zelina Vega isnt wasting time when it comes to proving herself as champion. Shes ready to defend the goldand wants to do it against someone she respects, not just someone whos next in line.
